Former NFL stars Ernie and Anthony Thompson took over Terre Haute North High School Saturday morning. They teamed up with the Vigo County School Corporation for a fitness summit. The day started heath screenings to check blood sugar, blood pressure, oxygen levels and pulse, then you could hit the gym to get some one-on-one exercise instruction. Those involved say getting some real football stars, and Terre Haute natives, involved can get a lot of people excited about fitness. “It wakes people up to see that there are ways that you can eat healthy, with our healthy lunch I goes on, and that fitness should be a big part of everyone’s life. Obesity has been a really big problem in we want the community to come together and get a grip on everything,” said Jaci Pabst of Blast Inc.
